Who we are, why we built this, and how we work.

Why we built this

Most women reach perimenopause knowing almost nothing about it, and find that the health system is not especially well set up to help. It gets limited coverage in general medical training. Appointments are short. Symptoms get attributed to stress or age, and the pattern goes unrecognised — often for years.

None of that is a failing of individual doctors. It is what happens when a condition affecting half the population gets a couple of hours of curriculum and a fifteen-minute consultation.

We built two things in response. Information good enough to rely on, written for an Australian reader and reviewed by a doctor. And appointments long enough to get somewhere, with GPs who work in this area constantly.

How we work

Every consultation is real. Live video or phone with a doctor registered in Australia. We do not assess by questionnaire — it breaches telehealth guidelines and it is bad medicine.

Our doctors will be named and checkable. Registration numbers will be published so you can verify them on the AHPRA register yourself.

Our pricing is published. What it costs, before you book.

The symptom check is free and yours. Take the summary to us or to your own GP. We would rather you got good care somewhere than no care from us.

Who we are

[Your name, background, and why you are doing this. Readers of health content reasonably want to know who is talking to them and what their interest is.]

We are not doctors. Clinical content is reviewed by one, and our editorial policy sets out how that works and how we keep the content side separate from the commercial side.
